Ignore non-essential fields during user CSV upload

When you opted to prevent your users from entering data into some profile fields, you do not have to take these settings out temporarily anymore when uploading new users. Only absolutely required fields are checked during user upload via a CSV file at "Administration" → "Users" → "Add users by CSV".

Default drop-down menu for navigation

MyPortfolio will be set up to use a drop-down menu per default to navigate the site.

If you wish to continue to use the tabbed navigation, you can activate it in your institution settings. In order to do so:

  1. Go to "Administration" → "Institutions" → "Settings".
  2. From the theme drop-down menu make sure that you have not selected "Site default", but any of the other theme options. If you wish to use the new MyPortfolio theme but with the tabbed navigation, choose the theme "MyPortfolio Schools".
  3. Save your changes.

Receive a notification for feedback on an institution page

When you allow feedback on pages that you set up under your institution, you and the site administrator will receive a notification making it easier for you to follow up on the feedback.

Easier quota management

You do not have to check whether users are getting close to reaching their file quota. Your institution users will receive a notification when they are at 90% of their file quota so that they can delete files.

If some of your users require a larger file quota, please get in touch with us so we can make a decision whether they can receive more storage space than 1 GB.
